Eligibility: To be eligible, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, enrolled or accepted with plans to attend a college or university in the U.S., and pursuing a field of study related to science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), economics, or business.

Submit: The assignment prompts you to choose an industry or sector where the application of specific technologies might be uncommon and discuss how existing problems could be solved as a result. The technologies to consider are blockchain, metaverses, tokenization, and big data & machine learning. The essay should be a minimum of 1200 words, in PDF or Microsoft Word format, and structured with an introduction, main body, and conclusion. The focus should be on concrete problems and innovative solutions within the chosen industry or sector, avoiding overgeneralization. The essay should also be original text and not previously published elsewhere.

13. Desire to Inspire Scholarships

🏆 Award: $500 – $1,500

📅 Deadline: Jun 9th

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. high school juniors or seniors during the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 academic school year (students graduating in Spring/Summer 2024 are not eligible), identify as a member of one or more historically underrepresented minority racial or ethnic groups (including Black/African-American, Native American, Latinx-American), demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Submit: The application requires responses to two questions, each with a word limit of up to 500 words. The first question explores the meaning of inspiration and how the applicant plans to utilize their platform in their future healthcare career to inspire and uplift others. The second question asks about intentional actions the applicant is currently taking to inspire those around them, with a word limit of up to 500 words as well.

Additionally, applicants are asked to respond to a third question within a word limit of up to 250 words, detailing how they would utilize the scholarship award to propel themselves towards their goals and continue serving as a source of inspiration to others. The completed application must be submitted by Sunday, June 9th, 2024.

Eligibility: This is an international Contest and is open to students ages 11-18 who are enrolled in middle school or high school (or the homeschool equivalent) worldwide. Proof of age, identity, or eligibility may be required.

Eligibility: Applicants for the Angels Wings Thai Scholarship must be graduating high school seniors entering an accredited college or university for the 2024-2025 school year, with an unweighted cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better, and must demonstrate their aspiration through a written essay.

Submit: To be considered for the Angels Wings Scholarship, each candidate must assemble a comprehensive set of documents. This includes the Angels Wings Application form, a High School Transcript showcasing senior grades, GPA, and Class Ranking, along with Two (2) Letters of Recommendation. One recommendation letter may be sourced from a Teacher, Coach, Principal, or Counselor, while the second letter can be provided by an adult known on a personal level, such as someone from Volunteering, a Faith-based Organization, Mentorship, or a Neighbor. Both letters must include contact information for verification purposes. Additionally, applicants are required to respond to specific essay questions, addressing how their Thai background has influenced their personal growth, identifying the individual (outside of their family) who has inspired them the most and explaining why, and finally, discussing their favorite book and the reasons behind their choice. Finally, candidates must furnish Proof of College Acceptance along with their ID Card Number, by submitting a copy of the College Acceptance letter.

Eligibility: Any high school senior in Tennessee who is attending an eligible school may apply for this scholarship if they have been impacted by cancer personally or through a family member.
